Before and After Birth: What Most Pregnant Women Never Know

I observed that the percentage of babies having health issues is rising instead of it to reduce.
Then in the ancient days, our mothers are not having all these diseases that are occurring now.

Are we now saying we are in civilized world and use our lifestyles to affect the coming generations. Why?

It disturbs me a lot seeing babies being exposed to X-Ray radiation in order to diagnose them.
Whose fault is it? The baby or the mother?

Let’s say the reality, it’s the mother’s fault. Yes! I know you will either agree or disagree.

Today, I am going to emphasize more on why mothers need to be cautious of themselves during pregnancy.

You Might Ask, “What factors can affect my baby during pregnancy?”

The following are some of the factors to consider which can affect your baby during pregnancy and after birth which you must take note of:

1. Do Not Take Drugs Anyhow

Drug use not prescribed by your doctors during can affect both the foetus and the baby.
Most drugs cross the placenta (the organ that provides nourishment to the foetus). Some can cause direct toxic (poisonous) effects and drug dependency in the foetus. After birth, some drugs can be passed to the baby through breast-feeding.
Drugs can cause problems throughout your pregnancy. For example, the early part of pregnancy is the most critical for the health of a foetus. This is when the main body systems are forming. Using drugs during this time can cause severe damage. Drugs can have harmful effects on the foetus at any time during the pregnancy, their nature after birth.

Based on research, some of the effects drug abuse during pregnancy also include:

  • Poor appetite.
  • Trouble sleeping at night.
  • Early (premature) labour.
  • Hard to make decisions or plans.
  • More chances of infections.
  • Water breaks too early.
  • Unable to cope with normal changes during pregnancy.
  • Sudden bleeding.

2. Be Watchful Of What You Eat And Drink

There are some food and fruits you must not take during pregnancy. You must not take banana, plantain and coconut during pregnancy because it affects the growth of the baby after birth. The baby begins to look slim and tiny. Yoruba call it “Oka”.

3. Exercise Yourself But Not too stressful

Exercise helps you keep fit and help in delivery. The period of labour will be delayed not stressful.

Those who don’t exercise regularly often face the challenges before labour. They will have to keep walking around, climbing stairs in order to get prepared for delivery.

  2. First of all I would like to say fantastic
blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do
not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind
prior to writing. I have had difficulty clearing
my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Thank you!

Well, It is easy once you’ve determined. You just have to plan what you wanted to write on by stating the topic/title, sub-topics (organizing your contents) whereby you sketch related topics you wanted to talk about like a spider web format being attached to the main topic. You can write little by little based on your ideas as drafts and then combine all together. From that, you’ll know what to come first in your introduction whereby your readers get attracted to make them continue reading. Though, am still learning, but just try to concentrate, with God I believe you can do better. Feel free to ask your question if you didn’t get this right.
Thanks for your stay on this site. lLove to hear more from you.
