It baffles me seeing the way some parents are careless about the lives of their children.
They neither have time for them not to talk of training them in the right way.
A Yoruba adage says, “A child that you refuse to build will be the one that will sell the house you built.”
When you see the way some children behave, you will ask yourself, “Is it a parent that gave birth to this child?”
At every naming ceremony, one of the keywords is ‘train your children in the way of the Lord’.
But are all parents doing it nowadays?
They have no time for their children not to talk of training them in the way of the Lord.
Many of these children are lost in the pleasures of the world first until they come back to their right senses and determine to walk in the way of the Lord.
There are some children that are trained but refused to take heed. They prove stubborn. Is it the fault of the children or the parents?
