Pleasing Religious Leaders to Hurt Your Spouse – Whose Fault?

Nowadays, the issue of religion affects some families whereby the religious leaders are not aware. But today, I will focus on the issue of respect. I observe that it’s common with some women who would give their religious leaders respect that they could not give their husbands at home.

For instance, there are some women who take their religious leaders as God. They didn’t even remember God again. They praise their religious leaders just like King Herod was praised, but God is merciful, looking at them taking the glory. Why?

Any small thing, you will hear, “Let me tell my pastor.”

Please don’t misunderstand me, I am not using this to criticize religious leaders.

Though I mention pastor here, that doesn’t mean I ridicule pastors. I am talking from experience and what is happening which I have seen with my ‘korokoro’ eyes.

There was a woman who was discussing with her pastor, a pastor Mrs. (as female pastors are called). Her husband was waiting outside calling her, “Iya Lagbaja!!!”

She kept her husband waiting ignoring him instead of her to take excuse for her to attend to her husband who was waiting for her outside. The man waited for some minutes but the wife didn’t answered at all. With annoyance, the man left. It was a surprise for the pastor to keep discussing with this woman without telling her to attend to her husband.

If you were there what would you advise the man to do?

Whose fault is it? The woman or the pastor?

This is an issue of concern which I will like us to discuss.

What is your opinion concerning this?
